What we collect
Your name, email address and a hashed password when you sign up. The friends, groups, rituals, journal entries, photos, mood check-ins and celebration dates you add. If you invite a friend, their name and email address so we can send that one invitation. If you subscribe, your billing is handled by Stripe; we store only a customer reference and subscription status, never your card number.
What we do with it
Run the product: track streaks, send the reminder and recap emails you have turned on, and show shared journals to the friends you share them with. We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising. If the optional AI suggestions feature is enabled, ritual titles and completion dates (not journal text) may be sent to OpenAI to generate suggestions.
Who processes it
- Supabase (database and photo storage, United States)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Stripe (payments)
- Resend (transactional email)
- OpenAI (optional AI suggestions, only if enabled)
Cookies
One cookie, bondloops_session, keeps you signed in. We set no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.
Friends who haven't joined
When you add a friend who isn't on BondLoops, we create a placeholder with the name and email you gave us and send them a single invitation. They can ignore it. We never email them again unless you resend the invite, and we rate-limit invitations to prevent abuse.
Your rights
You can edit your profile at any time. To export or delete your account and everything in it, email info@bondloops.com from the address on your account and we will do it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your journal entries, photos and rituals; shared journals keep the other person's entries.
Children
BondLoops is for people 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
