A standing call. Same day, same time, no scheduling.
Why it works
Calls that need scheduling don't happen. A call with a fixed slot removes the negotiation, and both sides start saving things up to talk about during the week.
How to run it
- Agree on a slot that survives most weeks — Sunday 5pm is popular.
- Keep it short by default. Twenty minutes that happens beats an hour that doesn't.
- If someone can't make it, move it within the same week rather than skipping.
